We usually respond within a day
As a fast-growing company, we are looking for a hardware engineer to extend our development team. Your focus will be the complete electronics development lifecycle: from idea to production of custom-designed IoT sensor products that are the foundation of our predictive maintenance applications.
Our company
Sensorfy isn’t just a leading industry 4.0 innovator – we’re a family of talented, hard-working professionals dedicated to empowering change with technology.
By producing the most accurate smart sensors and analytics, we help industrial companies to eliminate unplanned downtime and lengthen the lifetime of their assets. Together we make industrial operations more effective and sustainable.
The vacancy
As a Hardware Engineer, you are responsible for the development, qualification, and production of our products. Of course, you will not do this alone but together with other hardware engineers, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary Scrum development team.
Our products consist of battery-powered IoT sensors and gateway devices for different markets and customers. It is the job of the senior hardware engineer to design robust, low-power products that provide maximum battery life without compromising functionality. For connectivity, we make frequent use of Bluetooth LE, 4G, and LTE-M networks which will require maximum RF performance, done by antenna tuning and good RF layout.
Responsibilities
- Create quality hardware solutions that meet the customer requirements before moving into production.
- Clear, concise, and frequent communication is vital for a smooth operation.
- Support the business developer with new sales opportunities by designing the system architecture, identifying risk, estimating project size and hardware cost-price
- Continuously engage in the improvement of the hardware engineering process
- Continuously keep your knowledge up-to-date on new IoT technologies including (but not limited to) power management and energy harvesting, sensor technologies, and connectivity
- Strong collaboration with team members while empowering them through technical and soft skill coaching.
Who are you?
You are a hands-on person with a strong interest in technical things with the ability to work structurally and carefully. You are constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience and you know how to explain complex situations in a clear and customer-oriented way. You know how to build trusty and long-term relationships with our customers.
You are someone who prefers to work with new technologies, someone who has the ambition to be at the forefront of new developments. You like to share your knowledge with your colleagues and you work closely with your team. You identify problems within the projects and take action to solve them.
